Network Utilities is the Almacis Business Unit that designs, builds and manages traditional and digitalised infrastructure networks

Network Utilities has brought methane to more than 70 municipalities. The same care now extends to fluid transport and data-transmission networks.

Networks fully under control

The complexity of an integrated water system, an oil pipeline or a data network is handled end to end: feasibility, design, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance.

In 2002 it ran the first gas-meter remote-reading trial across an entire municipality. Since 2013 it has developed its own Multi-Utility Tunnel, an intelligent gallery hosting all underground services without further excavation.

It works with no-dig and trenchless technologies that reduce disruption and environmental impact, and surveys the subsoil with GPR, service locators and remote inspections before construction.
