These words capture the spirit and cultural legacy of Dante Marramiero, who in the mid-1950s founded the enterprise that continues to grow today.

Awarded the title of Commendatore of the Italian Republic, Dante passed his energy and tenacity to the women and men who share the vision that has allowed the company to grow, stone by stone, success after success.

He made the company a reference point in construction and in water, gas and sewer networks, with major works across Central and Southern Italy.

From the early 1970s he acquired more than 40 gas-network concessions and pioneered micro-cogeneration and renewable energy research.

From Impresa Marramiero came specialised companies: MD Costruzioni for civil and industrial building; Almacis, established in 1987; and in 1990 MD Ecogen, a design and services company.

After the founder’s death in 1993, a structured organisation enabled a smooth handover to the next generation and the company’s expansion onto international markets.
